Location: THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, Padstow, PL28 8SQ
Salary: £13.22 per hour (OTE £15.62 per hour, including tronc)
Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days
We are currently looking for a self-motivated Floor Manager who has a passion for fostering teamwork and delivering brilliant hospitality. The Restaurant is the beating heart of THE PIG, offering a daily changing menu focused on ingredients grown in our kitchen garden and local suppliers. Each service is designed to be different, fun and full of atmosphere. This is an opportunity to work with our Restaurant Manager to deliver the exceptional operation of one of the UK\'s most exciting and award-winning hotel and restaurant groups.
As Floor Manager you will create an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community. You will be responsible for bringing together daily operations within the restaurant, supervising the team\'s performance, and ensuring every guest has a positive experience. Good communication and people management skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and exposure to a busy restaurant service.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support daily restaurant operations in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
* Supervise team performance and guest experience to ensure consistency and exceptional service
* Foster a culture of teamwork, focus on attention to detail, and create a positive work atmosphere
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to maintain service standards
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar Floor Manager or supervisory role in a busy restaurant
* Strong communication and people management skills
* Ability to work well in a high-energy hospitality environment
