Veterinary Surgeon - Ambivet Ripley & Ambivet Heanor Veterinary Centre

Salary: From £40,000 depending on experience.
This full‑time role of 40 hours a week includes a share in the 1 in 8 on‑call and weekend rota. The main practice will be based at Ripley, with some shifts at Heanor Hospital. You will have access to a visiting CT scanner, digital X‑ray, dental X‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and laparoscopy equipment, and the practice prides itself on keeping cases in‑house wherever possible, enabling excellent case continuity and a high‑quality out‑of‑hours service.

- As an experienced vet, you bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and are comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
This role will involve providing on‑call support to new graduate vets and would ideally suit someone who is interested in working as part of a wider team.
