Overview
In conjunction with the Head of Contact Centre – Switchboard, provide management responsibility for the Switchboard service by supporting the strategic direction of the service to meet the Trust overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Support departments to ensure the Switchboard Directory is maintained.
* Support the recruitment and selection of staff across the Switchboard service.
* Support the Head of Contact Centre – Switchboard in recruiting and developing staff to meet the needs of the service.
* Manage personal workload to meet both corporate and personal deadlines.
* Prioritise workload to deliver both important and urgent tasks.
* Identify changes that may be required in an area to deliver the service and actively implement these changes with the support of the Service Manager.
* Support the day‑to‑day operational management of the Switchboard service.
* Support all budget requirements, including procurement.
* Ensure final sign‑off of the Health Roster across all sites.
