Description
* Own the end‑to‑end production planning process from demand forecasting to order fulfilment.
* Create accurate demand forecasts using a bespoke planning system to optimise inventory and prevent stock issues.
* Manage factory audits and vendor relationships to ensure quality, safety, and ethical compliance.
* Oversee product testing, FSC audits, and quality control, ensuring all finished products meet specification.
* Handle the full purchasing cycle, including raising POs, tracking production schedules, and managing on‑time delivery.
* Coordinate production activities across internal teams and external factories to maximise efficiency.
* Liaise with shipping agents to manage logistics, paperwork, and delivery timelines.
* Identify risks in the supply chain and implement proactive solutions.
* Support customer order processing as needed.
* Oversee UK distribution centre stock levels.
* Contribute to wider company policy management.
Profile
A successful Supply Chain & Production Planner should have:
* Experience in supply chain and production planning (full system training provided).
* Confident user of SAGE and Excel ideal.
* A positive, proactive attitude and strong customer service skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
* High attention to detail and the ability to work independently and drive actions forward.
