RNSS Ltd Job Description Technical Project Manager Responsible to: Managing Director Responsible for: Sub Contractors Role Objective To ensure that: RNSS projects are effectively and efficiently delivered. Duties: To handle client enquiries and liaise with the Administrator, Project Managers and Managing Director regarding all aspects of project management and service delivery To ensure that all bookings are received and correctly logged, filed and serviced, including devising, implementing and running business systems as required. To liaise with other on-site services to ensure that events run smoothly To create load lists, RAMS and crew briefing packs in good time To liaise with subcontractors and ensure that they are correctly briefed in good time about the site and their tasks To liaise with the rest of the warehouse team and assist them to ensure jobs are correctly prepped, delivered and returned To maintain a high level, practical understanding of our equipment and assist in maintaining and updating all items. To ensure, with the rest of the team, that all equipment leaving the building is properly maintained and tested with records kept. To ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations To ensure that any necessary records are kept and to make timely reports to the Managing Director as appropriate To undertake any other reasonable duties as may be required by the Managing Director Project Manager 2025 The company We are a small audio rental company working from our base in Waterloo, central London. We have been operating for four decades and specialise in high profile one-off events and festivals. We are an independent company owned and run by the founder who takes the company’s activities very personally. Our clients are generally large organisations with whom we have been working for many years and we expect to live up to their expectations. The role: We seek someone to take a share of the project workload, handling projects from first contact to wash-up. You will be advising clients on equipment choice and scheduling. You will be creating RAMS for the events and pick lists for the warehouse team, working alongside them to ensure perfect delivery. You will, with the help of our administrator, be booking and briefing freelancers (in writing) and ensuring every aspect of a project has been considered and communicated. You: You will be a demonstrably experienced audio engineer with an interest in the technical side of live music and technology. You will be intimately familiar with Digico and Yamaha consoles and Shure radio systems. If you have experience of project management in the events world but are not an audio specialist this would be considered as an alternative but you would have to be keen to learn about sound as a specialism. Curiosity, self drive, ability to prioritise, an excellent communicator and a fanatical attention to detail will be your key attributes. A dark sense of humour is an advantage.
