Seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and capable business analyst who is willing to work in an internal consultancy manner, must have expereince of the major local authority services eg housing, ASC, children’s etc. * Proven ability to work in project teams and manage work, using a structured, data-driven approach to set programme direction, encourage this approach in others and be able to clearly present information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. * Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of work projects, ensuring programme deliverables are met. Able to align strategy with operations and comfortable 'rolling your sleeves up' to achieve deliverables. * Proven change management and improvement experience within local government and/or consultancy with sound knowledge of quality and improvement approaches such as design thinking, process improvement and systems thinking. * Knowledge and experience of leading and delivering complex change programmes in local government and associated settings to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. * Excellent interpersonal, analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to effectively manage projects and programmes, work to deadlines and lead teams. * Ability to build and maintain lasting, trust-based relationships * Appreciation for how change can be better supported using data and digital technology * Understanding of financial accounting and flow accounting / cost-to-serve models is desirable Expert user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Local government and/or public services background is essential * Ability to effectively communicate ideas, findings and complex technical concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences Ability to work simultaneously on numerous projects with varying scopes * Willing to work with a cross-functional and highly collaborative team
