Role Overview:
1. Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Physics where applicable
2. Bring lessons to life with practical experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications
3. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners across all abilities, helping every student achieve their potential
4. Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives
5. Support extra-curricular STEM activities, clubs, and educational trips
6. Play an active role in promoting a positive, inclusive school culture
Candidate Profile:
7. Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
8. Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with confidence teaching general Science at KS3
9. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
10. Reflective, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development
11. Motivated to contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
