Job Description
* Lead and manage major capital works within the Property department.
* Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely delivery within budget.
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including contractors, team members, and senior management.
* Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
* Manage risks and issues, initiating corrective action where necessary.
* Report on project progress, budget, issues, and outcomes.
* Foster a team-oriented, safety-first work culture within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager (Major Capital Works) should have:
* A degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
* Proven experience leading major capital works projects.
* Sound knowledge of construction management principles, methods, and techniques.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on team coordination and motivation.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in project management software tools.
