Management Accountant Location: Solihull Salary: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 Job Type: Permanent Our client, a well-established and rapidly expanding organisation is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in delivering accurate financial information to support business decision-making. About the Role You will be responsible for producing management accounts for head office entities, assisting with the consolidation of group monthly reports, and providing insightful analysis to senior management. Working within a collaborative team, you will take ownership of your work while contributing to wider team objectives. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow. Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Conduct variance analysis against budgets. Assist with weekly and monthly finance reporting. Prepare monthly group intercompany trading and loans matrix. Monitor capital expenditure throughout the financial year. Prepare monthly VAT returns. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on financial monitoring. Ensure internal reporting compliance. Support annual budget preparation and three-year planning. Assist with year-end statutory accounts and external audits. Undertake ad hoc finance projects as required. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a management accounts role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office. Studying towards a professional accounting qualification is desirable, ACCA/CIMA High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives. Flexible, organised, and able to prioritise effectively. Determined, driven, and motivated to succeed.
