What you’ll do
The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for the development of a commercial strategy for the Fixed Wholesale channel within Vodafone Business UK. The role holder will drive cross-functional collaboration of key stakeholders to maximise revenue and margin outcomes and deliver improvements in commercial performance of the Fixed Wholesale channel.
1. Develop and implement a commercial strategy for Fixed Wholesale
2. Leadership, coaching and development of 4 direct reports
3. Engage with Fixed Wholesale customers
4. Work closely in collaboration with Product, Commercial and Marketing
5. Develop and maintain strategic and commercial relationships
6. Contract and inventory management and invoicing of billing/credits
7. Deliver Wholesale Pricing strategy, cost optimisation, margin assurance and incentive payments
8. Deal governance and oversee internal governance process for Fixed Wholesale
9. In-life management of key accounts
10. Wholesale portfolio benchmarking and pricing against competitors
11. Commercial negotiation and management of new and existing partner agreements
Who you are
12. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
13. Commercial acumen and financial literacy: Comfortable leading and creating business cases, plans and leading others to deliver quality outputs
14. Shaping strategy: Ability to develop and drive commercial sales strategies, achieving business growth
15. Delivering results: Drive continuous improvement and higher performance levels
16. Influencing collaboratively: Guide, influence and work effectively across functions to drive outcomes
17. Driving operational excellence: Lead the operation of the function to deliver the best-in-class performance
18. Strategic Planning and analysis: ability to develop and execute business strategies, including market analysis, competitive positioning and long-term planning
19. Deep B2B Telco experience is essential with an understanding of the Wholesale market
20. Ability to assimilate data to draw insights to make sound judgements in complex situations
