We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the patient access team based at King's Mill Hospital

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has an eye for detail and who will put the patient and customer care at the forefront of the service provided. Potential areas to be covered are Outpatient Reception, Call Centre, Medical Records and Clinic Preparation. You will develop various skills across all areas within the patient access team as a Rotational Admin Clerk. You must have:
* Good computer skills and the ability to competently navigate our various computer systems
* Flexibility in your approach to work, with a willingness to work in any reception area within the Outpatient setting. You may also be required to cover reception at other Sherwood Forest Hospitals sites.
* The ability to work any day of the work week and between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm to meet the needs of our patient access services. Rotas will be provided in advance.
* Good organisation skills, ability to work to strict deadlines, and ability to work in a confidential setting.
* Evidence of teamwork, flexible attitude to cover sickness and annual leave, adherence to Trust & departmental policies and procedures, knowledge of NHS and Careflow, previous clerical and customer care experience.
* Computer literate with experience using a keyboard, good general education with GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.

Job Responsibilities
