Our client is currently actively looking to hire a Sustainable Investment Manager based from their offices in London.
Job Title: Sustainable Investment Manager
Location: London/Hybrid Working (2 Days Per Week)
Duration: 12 Months
Day Rates: Competitive (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)
Job Duties:
You will lead the integration of sustainability considerations into our investment portfolios. This role involves overseeing investment managers and designing innovative solutions that align with our sustainability ambitions; whilst working with the wider investment team to ensure that the portfolio of assets managed by the team meet their investment objectives, maximising the value of the assets while minimising risks.
Lead the incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into DC pension products. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, to conduct thorough research and oversight of investment managers to ensure adherence to sustainability criteria. Ensuring that communication is timely, accurate and effective and that the asset management process is aligned with objectives, address concerns and respond to raised issues.
Develop and implement sustainable investment strategies and solutions for DC pension products that integrate climate risk and other sustainability considerations
Experience Required:
* Ideally 5 years of experience in sustainable investing, with a strong focus on the DC market.
* In-depth knowledge of DC Pension products and market dynamics - Ideally.
* Proven experience in investment manager research and oversight
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to design and implement innovative sustainable investment solutions
* Varied Asset Classes
* Large fund (this will be in GBPbillions)
* Asset Management/Fund Analysis background, Wealth Management
* Knowledge of ESG with portfolios and Advantage
* Knowledge of Pension Fund, Annuities is not essential - but a Bonus
