We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team, covering clients across Essex and East London. The chance to join a growing M&E specialist firm with over 30 years of experience.This role suits a technically strong engineer with excellent fault-finding ability and a commitment to delivering first-class service.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out planned servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial sites
*
Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently, minimising downtime for clients
*
Confidently service and maintain fire alarm panels
*
Inspect, test, and maintain fire extinguishers in accordance with relevant standards
*
Complete detailed service reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
*
Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding system performance and upgrades
*
Ensure all work is completed in line with current fire safety regulations and company procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
*
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
*
Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and relevant fire safety standards
*
Proven experience working with Kentec, C-Tec, and Advanced panels
*
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve system faults
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Desirable Skills

FIA training and equivalent industry qualifications
