Hourly Paid Lecturer

A flat rate of £20.29 per hour will be paid for completing one of the following elements of the schedule; teaching, preparation and marking.

£50.72 per direct teaching hour.

The number of hours required and the days of the week may vary.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Hourly Paid Lecturers to support the delivery of the Occupational Therapy undergraduate and/or postgraduate portfolio within the Institute for Health and Allied Health Professions. The postholders will make a direct contribution to teaching and learning by planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality educational activities across a range of modules and practice-related topics. Applicants should demonstrate current professional expertise in occupational therapy and the ability to engage and support a diverse student body through innovative and inclusive teaching approaches. The role will also involve marking and student assessments, providing constructive feedback, student supervision, and contributing to interprofessional learning activities, ensuring students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professional values required for contemporary healthcare practice.
