The Role: As a Caretaker / Facilities Manager, you’ll take hands-on responsibility for 7 buildings in Basildon (Commercial and Workshop facilities). You will be the eyes and ears of the business, ensuring full compliance and a safe, well-maintained environment. Your duties will include: * Regular compliance checks including Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, and Flick Testing. * Checking Boilers / Water for Legionnaires disease * General upkeep of all on-site Building Services. * Coordinating and supervising sub-contractors, ensuring works are completed to standard. * Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all compliance logs are up to date. About You: * Previous experience in Facilities, Caretaking and Building Services. * Hands-on approach with excellent organisational skills. * Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Strong communicator with the ability to manage contractors and liaise with internal teams.
