In the UK&I, our Service team delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a diverse customer base across all industry sectors, including HVAC, chillers, industrial refrigeration, controls, and mechanical and electrical works.
What you will do
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Field Delivery Manager to lead, inspire, and manage a team of skilled technicians. In this role, you’ll oversee resource planning and cultivate a motivating environment where your team can thrive and meet high-performance standards. You’ll ensure contractual obligations are met and customer satisfaction remains a top priority by understanding their requirements and coordinating work assignments efficiently. It's a hybrid type of role to cover the Southwest of the UK, including Bristol and Plymouth regions with a mixture of office-based (Bristol/Plymouth/Cardiff), and remote/site working.
How you will do it
1. Lead your team with confidence, making sound decisions even in ambiguous situations and driving change initiatives.
2. Verify and implement remedial repair quotations to maintain expected business margins.
3. Ensure site-specific RAMS are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements.
4. Oversee technician tools and equipment management, including PAT testing and calibration. Ensure adequate PPE is issued and well maintained.
5. Balance commercial priorities while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
6. Develop and implement effective planning and organisational strategies to meet service-level targets.
7. Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning for both yourself and your team.
8. Promote collaboration across internal teams and external partners to drive improvement and establish best practices.
What We Look For
9. Proven experience in the HVAC industry coupled with a solid working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems in industrial and commercial settings.
10. Previous supervisory experience; an IOSH qualification is advantageous.
11. Ability to influence, manage, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
13. Proficiency in IT systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Apple iPad systems.
