JOB DESCRIPTION
Pay Rate: £30,
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sunday - Thursday
Location: Argos Home Delivery - Bristol - BS34 5TA
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
1. work alongside our warehouse team, coordinating the picking and loading of white goods / furniture onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
2. accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises / to customers' homes
3. maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
4. complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

5. High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
6. Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders
7. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
8. Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
