SPTO Warden - Accommodation/Facilities Manager
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit an Accommodation/Facilities Manager (DP Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 12-24 months, with possibility of extension.
·Pay Rate - £20.95 per/hr
·Location – Derry/ Londonderry
·Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
·Hours – 37 hours per week
The main purpose of this role is to provide local, onsite support to the Ebrington Resource & Transition team in the management and maintenance of the various work strands associated with development of the Ebrington site, on time and within budget. This post is area-specific and therefore the role holder will be based on the Ebrington site in Derry/Londonderry.
Site maintenance including inspections; liaison with CPD on PPM/ Remedials; meetings with contractors; approval of contractor invoices. Tenant engagement including handling tenant issues and attending Tenant Forum. Engagement and liaison with Derry City & Strabane District Council (DCSDC) and other stakeholders as necessary to facilitate the transfer of the site to DCSDC in due course. Management and monitoring of onsite contracts including meetings with contractor managers; Contact point for emergency calls. Event management including ensuring paperwork is in order; security cover; liaison with PSNI; site inspections with Health & Safety team; working with Council/ SAG on event arrangements. Management of the site maintenance budget; management of AMPS payments; invoice approvals in line with budgets; oversight of service charges, rents and car park charging.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
·GCSE / O Level (or equivalent) standard including Mathematics and English at grades A-C plus 1 years’ experience related to the management of estate and facility management services.
OR
·minimum of 2 years’ experience related to the management of estate and facility management services.
·IT experience including use of Microsoft Office; Record Management Systems and online Management Systems.
Desired Experience/Qualifications
·Customer relations/ working with stakeholders.
Relevant or Equivalent Qualifications
