Key Objectives of the Role: Contribute to the execution of the marketing plan, including (but not limited to) content creation, communications, and the customer rollout of key campaigns. Support the wider Marketing Team in the delivery of major project initiatives. Manage and respond to customer enquiries and contacts received via the company website. Primary Duties and Tools Used: Assist in implementing the marketing plan by supporting content creation, campaign communications, and customer engagement. Provide day-to-day support to the wider Marketing Team in delivering strategic projects. Manage incoming customer enquiries via the website, ensuring appropriate follow-up—such as coordinating sample requests, pricing information, or account set-up. Support the Category Team with market and consumer insights using platforms such as Innova, Vypr, FMCG Gurus, and Euromonitor. Contribute to the development of visual content using Canva, including assets for social media, internal communications, email marketing, and website updates. Assist with the creation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns using the CRM Click platform. Support the coordination and preparation of materials for trade shows and industry exhibitions. Help develop promotional materials, brochures, and digital content to support sales and marketing initiatives. Assist in meeting preparation, including coordination, compiling briefing notes, and tracking action points. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience ( Required to perform the job ) Essential Knowledge of or experience in the food industry Demonstration of alignment with Synergy’s core values Degree-level qualification - ideally in food science, business, or marketing Desirable Customer-facing experience Some experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing Experience managing or working with external agencies Exposure to exhibitions and CRM systems Full UK or EU driving licence
