A specialist SEN school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team from April 2024. Role Highlights:
* Full-time, permanent position at a well-respected SEN school in Harrow
* Teach and support students with a variety of needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
* Develop and deliver individualised lessons that are engaging, accessible, and tailored to each student’s needs
* Work closely with SEN specialists, therapists, and support staff to provide a holistic learning experience
* Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure the best outcomes for all learners

Experience & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally within a specialist setting
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS check required
