FULL TIME (10 PA, with an 8 DCC and 2 SPA split) Fixed term post for 3 years. Salary Scale £64,158‑£99,975 per annum. Are you a talented International Psychiatrist looking to boost your career in the UK through a GMC‑approved sponsorship scheme? The scheme will give candidates exposure to various clinical settings to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required by GMC, and opportunities for participation in clinical governance. Candidates will remain on the programme for at least three years (subject to satisfactory progression). The doctor will be given a specific job plan with special‑interest sessions to cover the GMC criteria for clinical knowledge, skill and experience.

You must have at least 3 years training in psychiatry with a formal qualification such as M.D. (Psychiatry) or other postgraduate qualifications recognised by GMC, and be currently engaged in clinical practice over the last 12 months and meet GMC’s evidence of knowledge of English requirements. Candidates previously refused GMC registration through alternative routes including PLAB will not be ordinarily considered for the programme.
