We are looking for a Warehouse Section Manager to join our M&S site in Stoke. You will lead your team to achieve business goals, maximize productivity and efficiency, and focus on continuous improvement and colleague wellbeing.
This is a full-time, permanent position working any 5 from 7 night shifts, from 21:30 to 06:00.
Pay, benefits, and more:
You will earn a salary of up to £33,500 per year, plus a night shift premium of £3,530.64 per year. Typical daily responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of your warehouse area, leading, motivating, and developing your team to meet targets.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives on-site and advocate for cultural change.
* Foster a creative environment where ideas and improvements are encouraged.
* Ensure operational processes comply with health & safety policies, identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience at a similar level in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Strong leadership, team development, and management skills, with the ability to identify development needs and recognize success.
* Excellent people skills, as our workforce is our greatest asset.
* Solid knowledge of health & safety standards, prioritizing safety first and doing things correctly the first time.
