We're seeking a dynamic Director of AI Cyber Security to operate as an entrepreneur, bringing a startup mentality to drive fast-paced growth. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy for AI-based Cyber Security solutions. You will be accountable for shaping and executing the go-to-market approach, building strategic relationships, and delivering impactful solutions, while expanding the high-performing cyber security team.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Develop and lead the commercial strategy for AI Cyber Security, with goals to drive sustainable growth.
2. Identify and shape new market opportunities, leveraging insights and trends to position the organization as a leader in AI Cyber Security.
3. Manage the sales pipeline and client relationships, driving business development and securing new revenue streams.
4. Oversee the delivery of AI Cyber Security solutions, ensuring high-quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.
5. Foster innovation and collaboration across teams, working closely with technical, delivery, and leadership stakeholders to evolve and scale offerings.
6. Develop strong partnerships to generate new business opportunities.
7. Collaborate with business development and account teams to promote AI Cyber Security services to clients and prospects, ensuring offerings are well-positioned for success.
8. Promote Kainos externally as an AI Cyber Security leader through campaigns and events.
9. Act as an ambassador for Kainos, embracing and promoting our culture, values, and behaviors.
Minimum requirements include:
* Experience in developing new commercial offerings from concept to over £1m revenue, with a proven track record of meeting targets in a startup environment.
* Strong knowledge of the sales process and deal-making, including constructing complex commercial proposals.
* Customer success focus, with a consultative selling approach that helps clients realize value from technology.
* Strong influencing skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams to achieve cybersecurity outcomes.
* Solid understanding of AI Cyber Security trends and their impact on projects.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland for customer meetings and office visits (weekly).
Desirable qualifications include:
* Experience in both commercial and public sectors.
* Deep expertise in AI Cyber Security.
