We are a leading multi-site contract manufacturer supplying to some of the UK’s most recognisable FMCG, healthcare and consumer brands.
Due to continued growth and investment, we are now recruiting experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our engineering team on our modern West Drayton site.
Responsibilities - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Rapid response to breakdowns, fault-finding and repair on fast-moving automated production, injection moulding and assembly lines
* Planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
* Installation & commissioning of new equipment
* Root-cause analysis and proactive elimination of recurring faults
* Working safely with LOTOTO, permits and all H&S procedures
* Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC-controlled systems
Experience/Qualifications - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Time-served engineer with completed Advanced Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience gained in a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment
* Strong fault-finding skills on automated machinery (injection moulding experience highly advantageous)
* Ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings
* Knowledge of vision systems, pneumatics, inverters, sensors and control systems
* 18th Edition wiring regulations desirable
* Happy to work continental days and be part of an on-call rota (generous additional payment)
