Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicate Mental Health Care Assistant to join our team. You will provide essential support to 4 individuals, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. This position is for nights.
Some of your duties will include:
To assist and support elderly residents with a mental health condition to be as independant as possible in enhancing their daily lives.
To administer medication and keep all relevant records.
To complete daily documentation as required. To follow individual care plans.
To follow policies and procedures and ensure Health & Safety is upheld.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate care activities
* Level 3 medication administration
