About Countryview
Our service offers short breaks for children and young people with:
* Complex medical needs
* Physical and learning disabilities
* Autism and neurodiverse conditions
* Trauma-related and emotional needs
But Countryview is about so much more than care — it’s a place for play, connection, fun, and growth.
What You'll Do
As part of our team, you’ll:
* Create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for every child
* Support with personal care, therapeutic routines, and daily activities (full training provided)
* Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
* Engage children in play, sensory exploration, outings, and skill-building opportunities
* Offer consistent and compassionate support, especially during times of distress
Your presence gives families vital time to rest and recharge, knowing their child is in safe and capable hands.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for people who are:
* Compassionate, calm, and child-centred
* Creative and playful in their approach
* Reliable, flexible, and team-focused
* Confident supporting children with a variety of complex needs
Experience in care is helpful, but it’s your values, attitude, and willingness to learn that matter most. Whether you have personal experience, voluntary work, or transferable skills from another sector — if you're passionate about supporting young people, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer
* Flexible shifts to suit your availability
* Full induction and ongoing paid training
* Opportunities to build skills and progress within Quarriers
* Concerts for Carers registration
* Blue Light Card membership
* A welcoming, supportive team environment
* The chance to be part of something truly meaningful
At Countryview, we don’t just provide care — we create memories.
Children come here to laugh, learn, and enjoy life, and we’re looking for people who want to be a part of that journey.
