This role is ideal for a motivated audit professional seeking responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients. You will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, supervise junior team members, and contribute to high-quality audit delivery across a diverse client portfolio. Key responsibilities: Lead audits from planning to completion for a variety of clients. Supervise and support junior audit staff. Prepare and review audit documentation and ensure compliance with standards. Liaise with clients to understand their businesses and address audit issues. Deliver clear and concise audit findings and recommendations. Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts where required. Maintain technical knowledge and stay up to date with audit standards. What we’re looking for: ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist with strong audit experience. In-depth understanding of UK auditing and accounting standards. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively. Proficiency with audit software such as CaseWare or similar. A team player with a proactive and client-focused approach. What’s on offer: Competitive salary of £45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience.
