A successful and forward-thinking law firm with offices across the Thames Valley is seeking a Legal Support Assistant to join its busy Conveyancing Team in Thatcham. Recently recognised as a leading firm within its network, the practice is known for delivering high-quality legal services to both individuals and businesses.

The Role As a Legal Support Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and client support to conveyancing lawyers across a range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately setting up new client files in line with instructions from fee earners
* Preparing sales packs, liaising with estate agents and responding to enquiries
* Attending client meetings and providing regular updates on transaction progress
* Preparing first draft contract documentation and property search reports
* Drafting correspondence to clients, lenders and other solicitors
* Maintaining accurate records within the firm’s document management system
* Managing diaries and providing wider administrative support to the team
About You
* Previous assistant or secretarial experience within a legal or conveyancing environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to build positive and trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
