Job Summary
Work within North Tyneside Specialist Community Psychology Service providing psychological interventions for patients with complex psychological difficulties, including early developmental trauma. Deliver therapies, group work, triage, assessments and risk management, while liaising internally and externally to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical assessments, risk assessments and psychological interventions in a community setting.
* Lead and support group work and triage services.
* Make evidence‑based decisions on clinical pathways and liaise with external agencies.
* Co‑facilitate group work and facilitate clinical supervision where required.
* Identify and implement service development opportunities to improve patient experience.
* Document all services in accordance with service standards and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
* Specialist mental health knowledge, evidence of postgraduate education or specialised training.
* Relevant background: Registered Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychologist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, PCMHW, or equivalent.
* Professional registration with the appropriate body.
* Demonstrated decision‑making skills and experience in service procedures and guidance.
* Experience delivering group work, comprehensive assessments and risk assessments for complex cases.

* Must hold current UK professional registration.
* Disclosure and Barring Service check required (subject to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act).
* Suitable for skilled worker sponsorship if required.
* Possession of a valid Certificate of Sponsorship may be considered.
