Are you a skilled and proactive IT Technician ready to step up into a more senior role – or keen to take the next step in your career?
Wycliffe College are seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to join our dedicated IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support, managing IT hardware and software, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and providing expert IT Support to the pupils and staff across the College.
As a key member of the team, you'll ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our IT Systems. This includes managing our IT networks, cloud-based services and enhancing our cyber security infrastructure. Your skills and knowledge will be critical in ensuring that our technology functions smoothly for all users.
While this is a senior role, we welcome applications from technicians who may not yet meet all the criteria but are eager to develop and progress. A suitable candidate may be considered for an IT Technician position instead, depending on experience and fit.

Terms of Appointment:
This is a permanent position, offered on a full-time basis. Working hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break.
You will be entitled to 25 days paid annual leave + Bank and Public Holidays (1 January to 31 December).
Salary Range:
£27,000–£30,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.

About Us
Wycliffe is an HMC co-educational day and boarding school. Wycliffe is located in Stonehouse, approximately 25 miles north of Bristol and 15 miles south of Cheltenham and Gloucester. Access via the motorway network is convenient (we are 3 miles from the M5) and there is a train station in Stonehouse (on the main line from London to Cheltenham) which is just a two minute walk from the school gates. In the Senior School pupils join at Year 9 (age 13) and continue until Year 13 (age 18). There are around 420 pupils in the school and 225 in the Sixth Form. Some 27 subjects are offered at A Level including Japanese, Film Studies, Computer Science and Psychology. Three BTECs are on offer as well as the EPQ. Main sports are rugby, football and cricket for boys with hockey, netball and tennis for girls.
