SEN Support Workers

We're working on behalf of a Children's Services unit that are on the lookout for Support Workers to join the team of full-time/permanent staff. The site provide a valuable service to families in the area with support for their children.
The site look after students with a wide range of special needs but are primarily focused around Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs.
The role
The role of support worker here is incredibly varied. The role is a lot of 1-1 support, helping these young people develop and build confidence for life away from the site. Their approach is highly child-centred providing individualised care programmes.
Ideally they are looking for full-time staff and the agreed hours can vary depending on the candidate's availability. You must have some form of SEN/SEMH experience but are very open to applications from support workers from a care background (essential to have worked with children before).

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
