Mobile Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer
Salary: £50k - £52,500 + Overtime
Covering Southampton and surrounding areas.

Are you an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer with experience with ammonia, looking to advance your career with a leading company in the built environment?
We are seeking an experienced Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves working across industrial environments such as food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, on various refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance and service on refrigeration equipment, including Reciprocating, Scroll, and Screw compressors.
* Work with installations using Ammonia, CO₂, and HFC/HFO systems.
* Provide reactive breakdown support during working hours and participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure service excellence.
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
* Follow industry best practices and legislation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in industrial refrigeration with strong knowledge of customer expectations and standards.
* Recognised qualifications including F-Gas (Category 1 - 2079), ACRIB, and Ammonia Handling certification.
* Completed recognised apprenticeship or training in Industrial Refrigeration.
* Experience with maintenance and servicing of medium to large refrigeration systems.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, especially on compressors like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, and Mycom.
