Job Description
Are you passionate about raising standards and maintaining excellence in education? We’re looking for an Engineering Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Process & Audit Coordinator to play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity, consistency, and compliance of assessment and verification processes across our organisation.
Responsibilities
* Report to the Faculty Lead IQA, ensuring regulatory and awarding body standards are met.
* Champion best process practice among assessors and verifiers and drive continuous improvement through innovative digital platforms such as Smarter Touch.
* Liaise with external awarding bodies including EAL to support audits and external quality assurance visits, helping deliver qualifications to the highest standards.
* Maintain and develop credible, informed oversight of procedures, ensuring compliance with sector‑specific standards.
* Manage complex information and documentation, demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
* Travel across all College sites and occasionally to employer locations, supporting continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications
* Degree‑level qualification in a subject demonstrating the skills and behaviours required for effective quality assurance, including operating independently, problem solving and critical thinking.
* Proven experience in quality processes with a strong track record of ensuring credible oversight and compliance with standards.
* Strong organisational, communication and collaboration skills.
* Commitment to continuous improvement.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a condition of employment.
