Key Duties & Responsibilities
Transport & Support
* Drive residents to medical appointments, outings, and community activities.
* Assist residents with safely entering and exiting vehicles, ensuring seat belts are worn.
* Transport staff and visitors as required.
* Accompany trips when needed (only if trained to provide support).
Vehicle Maintenance
* Keep vehicles clean, fuelled/charged, and roadworthy.
* Carry out routine checks and ensure all documentation is up to date (e.g. MOT, tax, logs).
* Report and record any vehicle faults.
* Complete journey logs after each use.
* Ensure vehicles are locked and secure when parked.
General Duties
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in vehicles.
* Dispose of vehicle waste appropriately.
* Collect and deliver equipment as required.
* Support general upkeep of the car park and surrounding areas when not driving.
Working in the Community
* Clarify your role for each trip (drop-off, wait, or support).
* Remain with the vehicle unless instructed otherwise.

* Excellent hourly rates of pay, with annual uplifts, with clear pay bands.
* Extra hourly rates paid for weekends with £0.50 Sat / £0.75 Sun.

A Successful Candidate Should Have
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
* Experience in a customer-focused or care environment.
* Caring, patient, and respectful approach.
* Good communication and listening skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
* Willingness to complete training and follow company policies.
* Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Candidate Must Have
* Right to Live and Work in the UK
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
