Overview

We are recruiting an Account Handler to join the Private Clients team at Howden in Maidstone, England. You will build rapport with an existing book of Private or High-net-Worth clients and work with the wider team to achieve objectives.


Responsibilities

* Build rapport with an existing book of Private or High-net-Worth clients and work closely with the wider team to achieve objectives.
* Support larger accounts from start to finish, including attending meetings, taking notes, speaking to insurers, and working through renewal presentations and renewal terms.
* Be tenacious with a business curiosity to identify and explore opportunities for existing clients to drive the best possible outcomes.
* Be willing to learn and expand insurance knowledge, with the goal of becoming Cert CII qualified.
* Adopt a consultative approach, ask questions effectively, listen actively, fully understand client requirements, and advise on products and solutions with a 'path to yes'.


About you

* You will have experience developing and building long-lasting relationships with Private or High-net-Worth clients.
* You must have a passion for excellent customer service as this role will be working with existing clients and supporting their needs.
* You are able to work closely with colleagues to support on larger accounts from start to finish, including attending meetings, taking notes, speaking to insurers, and working through renewal presentations and terms.
* You will be tenacious and have a business curiosity to identify opportunities for existing clients to drive the best possible outcomes.
* You are willing to learn, as every day will be different. This is a great opportunity to expand your insurance knowledge and become Cert CII qualified.
* You are consultative, able to question effectively and be an active listener; take the time to understand client requirements and advise on products and solutions, thinking about client needs and a path to yes.
