As aService Engineerbased in Haydockyou’ll be responsible for:
1. Servicing and calibrating equipment for our own hire fleet and customer owned equipment, including, where relevant carrying out services at customer premises and on-site.
2. Competently carrying out technical demonstrations on the company’s full range of hire products
3. Supplying regional support on the specialist range of equipment that is operated from the central support facility at the HQ in Chesterfield
4. Providing telephone technical support both internally and externally
5. Delivering first class customer back up including attending breakdowns, providing onsite technical support and training, carrying out site audits and providing feedback to customers and supervisors
6. Diagnosing faults and making repairs on equipment across our hire offering, from small tooling to Tracstar machines capable of welding 1200mm Poly pipe.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between – with a finish on Fridays!
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
7. A proven mechanical engineering/mechanics background
8. Electronics, hydraulics and component fault finding background/experience
9. Level 2 or 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering or an engineering qualification
10. A full UK driving license
