We are seeking a Senior environmental professional to support our Environmental Management and Assessment Team in the UK, based from any of WSP’s UK offices. Our portfolio includes projects across sectors such as renewables, aviation, nuclear, and rail. We value creative spirit, dedication, and a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment, and management throughout the project lifecycle.
About the Role
As a Senior EIA Consultant, you will collaborate with technical specialists and design teams to manage environmental inputs to projects. Your role involves improving environmental performance across diverse projects and sectors, from feasibility to construction and maintenance.
Provide environmental advice to clients and project teams.
Manage environmental assessments including EIAs, environmental management plans, and statements.
Oversee project delivery, quality, and safety standards.
Engage in business development activities such as proposals and strategic bids.
Mentor junior staff and promote an inclusive, safety-conscious work environment.
Candidate Requirements
Environmental degree or equivalent qualification.
Chartered status or working towards IEMA membership.
Experience with EIA processes and legislation.
Proven track record in managing environmental assessments.
Strong communication skills and team collaboration experience.
