Salary: £12.21 per hour (£25,396.80per annum)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a SupportWorker to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited - Seaham
Essential Care and Support is a part of the National Care Group andis a dedicated specialistin providing person centred care across our supported living, outreach and dayservices. We support some incredible individuals with a range of support needsincluding Mental Health, Dementia, Physical Disabilities and Elderly care. The role of a National Care GroupSupport Worker
You will work with young adults who have complexneeds. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who canpassionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is asometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.
* You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
* You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
* You will assist with personal care, which may include support with eating and administering medication.
* You will help to plan and participate in any exciting days out they wish to enjoy.
* You will make a positive impact on someone's life by supporting them to become more independent wherever possible.
What qualities do you need to be agreat support worker?
* A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
* A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
* Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
* Excellent listening and communication skills.
