Deputy Room Leader Preschool Room
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Room Leader to join our nursery setting based in SE6.
This is a room-based role within the preschool room, with occasional office cover responsibilities to support the part-time Nursery Manager.
Role Details
* Full-time position
* Preschool room-based role with Deputy responsibilities
* Occasional office/admin cover required
* Salary: circa £30,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
About the Nursery
We are a very outdoors-focused nursery that encourages children to explore and learn through nature and play. Our setting even includes chickens, helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and responsibility through hands-on experiences.
Requirements
* Previous Room Leader or senior nursery experience
* Full and relevant Early Years qualification
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
* Confident supporting both room and management responsibilities
* Passion for outdoor learning and child-led play
