An excellent opportunity is available for a NPI Project Manager to join a market-leading manufacturer known for exceptional staff retention, long-term career development and their investment in engineering and innovation.
As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver products from concept through to launch, playing a key role in how new products reach global markets.
An ideal applicant will have experience bringing new and existing products to market and a strong understanding of the entire product lifecycle. You will come from a manufacturing, FMCG, consumer goods or similar product-led environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, suited to someone who enjoys coordinating multiple disciplines and leading projects concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process
* Coordinate engineering, product management, manufacturing, procurement, quality and suppliers
* Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules and resource models
* Control costs, timelines, risks and deliverables
* Identify, manage and mitigate technical, commercial and supply-chain risks
Who we’re looking for
You will be an experienced Project or Programme Manager with a background in product-led engineering or manufacturing environments, such as:
* Consumer Goods, Automotive, Electronics, Robotics, FMCG, Industrial Equipment, Medical Devices or similar
You’ll bring:
* Proven experience in delivering product development / launch project from cradle to grave
* A background in marketing, business management and / or engineering
* Excellent planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination skills
* Confidence working with design, R&D, production and external suppliers
* The ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
