A bit about what you will do...
As a Restaurant Floor Manager at Fairmont Windsor Park, you will assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure a smooth and effective running of the Food & Beverage operation of the restaurant. As one of the operational leaders, you are a strategic service expert, assist in maintaining and improving the Fairmont Windsor Park standards of operations and manage and develop your team
* Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily restaurant operations and ensure service standards are met
* Report on financial performance and employee satisfaction
* Foster a service-focused, results-driven team environment
* Train and develop staff according to Fairmont Windsor Park service standards
* Monitor staff schedules and vacation planning
* Help implement and improve guest service and recognition programs
* Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are followed in all areas
* Promote and maintain a safe work environment e.g. uphold fire safety rules and regulations etc
* Support the implementation and monitoring of standards, policies, and procedures
* Lead daily team briefings

* You are a true people’s person, with passion to delight our guest with amazing service
* You will be obsessed about brand standards, with real passion for hospitality
* You will have the ability to remain calm during difficult situations, in a very busy environment
* You have a good working knowledge of food and beverages
* You are a great leader and strive to develop and motivate the team
* Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential
