Reception Teaching Assistant Start: September 2025 - End: July 2026 (with potential for a permanent position) Location: Kirkstall, Leeds Salary: From £90 - £110 per day. Your Role: Support Reception pupils as they start their school journey Deliver phonics interventions and small group learning activities Encourage outdoor and provision-based play and exploration Offer general classroom support alongside the class teacher Provide some 1:1 and small group SEND support, particularly for pupils with Autism and delayed communication & language needs Help with social development and personal care when needed Requirements: Experience working with EYFS pupils (school or nursery setting) Some understanding of SEND, particularly Autism and speech & language delays A calm, encouraging, and engaging approach to supporting young learners Willingness to support with personal care routines and hygiene A DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one) Interested?
