Duration of Contract: Permanent post
Salary: Senior Lecturer UH8 £44,263 to £56,021 pro rata per annum depending on skills and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days pro rata plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: University of Hertfordshire, College Lane Campus (some teaching at Meridian House and de Havilland sites), Hatfield

Main duties & responsibilities
The Senior Lecturer (Primary Care) will provide high-quality academic input related to planning, teaching, assessing, and evaluating postgraduate study programs (including MSc and apprenticeships), and contribute to our continuing professional development portfolio. You will also take on Module Leadership.
Skills and experience needed
You should have experience teaching and supporting SCPHN students, with knowledge of current NMC requirements and standards of proficiency. Demonstrated teamwork and ability to work independently, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are essential. Experience working with practice partners and students, especially in the field of School Nursing, is desirable.
Qualifications required
You must be an NMC-registered nurse and an NMC-registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in either health visiting or school nursing. An honours degree in a relevant subject is required, along with a master’s degree or Level 7 qualification such as a Post Graduate Diploma. Doctoral studies are desirable. A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one is essential.
