We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team at MEA Central.
This is a Grade 2, permanent post working 10 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £5,905, with a full-time equivalent of £24,027. The start date will be confirmed once all pre-employment checks are completed.
We’re Looking For
A candidate with experience in food preparation, setting up, and serving meals in line with food hygiene regulations. Customer service focus, courtesy, responsiveness, active listening, and effective verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, colleagues, and Trust staff.
Main Purpose of the Job
To work as part of the team to provide an effective catering service, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining catering areas in accordance with food hygiene standards.
All staff are expected to share the Trust’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Specific safeguarding responsibilities are detailed in the attached job description.
