Project Manager – Industrial Refrigeration
A market leader in industrial refrigeration is seeking a driven and technically capable Project Engineer to join their national projects team, delivering bespoke CO₂ and ammonia-based refrigeration systems across the food and beverage industry with a longstanding and reputable clientbase.
The Role:
This is a key project delivery role, responsible for the technical and commercial management of refrigeration projects involved in the process from pre-project planning to commissioning and client handover.
Working within a team of specialist engineers and project managers/ project engineers and design engineers, you’ll oversee the coordination of site activity, subcontractors, and internal resources to ensure that every project meets stringent quality, safety, and performance standards.
Projects typically involve large-capacity chillers, blast freezers, and energy-efficient cooling solutions for major food processing and storage facilities.
Project Manager – Ideal Background:

Proven experience in delivering refrigeration or HVAC projects, ideally within the industrial or food sector
*
An understanding of refrigeration/ HVAC project delivery, having CO2 and ammonia-based refrigeration systems is a plus
*
Familiarity with project engineering workflows — from technical design input and procurement through to installation and commissioning
*
Experience working with site-based teams, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders
*
Strong organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail
*
Competent in interpreting P&ID drawings, specifications, and control schematics
*
Engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration disciplines preferred
Remuneration & Benefits:

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
