We are seeking an experienced Technology Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a complex, multi-workstream technology programme.
This contract role will suit someone comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, coordinating senior stakeholders, and driving delivery across engineering, product, data, and operations teams.
Contract Length: Initial 12 month contract
Location: London + Hybrid/Remote (UK)
Day Rate: Very Competitive
Start Date: February 2nd
You will take ownership of programme governance, planning, dependencies, risks, and outcomes — ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities | Programme Manager – Technology:
* Own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale technology programme spanning multiple workstreams
* Define and maintain programme plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
* Establish and run robust programme governance
* Manage senior stakeholder engagement across technology and business functions
* Track delivery progress, budgets, and resource allocation
* Identify, manage, and mitigate programme-level risks and issues
* Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery
* Drive accountability across delivery leads and vendors/partners
* Support change management, communications, and benefits realisation
Required Experience | Programme Manager – Technology:
* Proven experience as a Programme Manager delivering complex technology programmes
* Strong background working across engineering, product, cloud, data, or platform teams
* Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams concurrently
* Comfortable working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
* Strong stakeholder management at Director / C-suite level
* Excellent planning, reporting, and governance skills
* Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous or evolving environments
Desirable Experience | Programme Manager – Technology:
* Experience in regulated environments (e.g. financial services, payments, insurance)
* Vendor and third-party delivery management
* Transformation or large-scale platform modernisation programmes
* Exposure to cloud migrations, data platforms, or enterprise systems
