Overview
Lynx Employment Services Ltd is recruiting on behalf of Sheffield City Council for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join the Maximising Independence Team (MIT).

Responsibilities
* Undertake strengths-based social care assessments and reviews in line with Care Act principles.
* Carry out mental capacity assessments, best interest decisions, and safeguarding enquiries where required.
* Apply knowledge of Section 117 aftercare, attending multi-agency and professional meetings as appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with health partners and community services to promote enablement and recovery.
* Record and manage caseloads using LAS (Liquidlogic) experience preferred but not essential.
* Contribute to service development, promoting dignity, inclusion, and empowerment.
About You (Qualifications)
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
* Proven experience in adult mental health or a related setting.
* Confident in applying legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act 1983.
* Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.
* Compassionate, proactive, and motivated to make a real difference.
