Weâre looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Energy Projects team and take the lead on complex, high-value engineering or construction projectsâtypically valued at ÂŁ3 million or more.
As Project Manager, youâll be responsible for delivering critical infrastructure projects from conception through to completionâon time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
* Oversee full project lifecycle, from planning to handover
* Deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in compliance with CDM regulations
* Manage budgets, timelines, contracts, and project risks
* Conduct audits, inspections, and progress reviews
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
* Collaborate across internal teams: Planning, Design, Procurement, and Commercial
* Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners
* Drive high performance and continuous improvement within the project team
* Ensure key service metrics and customer satisfaction targets are met
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental, and legal standards
* Produce monthly performance reports and maintain accurate project documentation
* Implement governance processes, change controls, and risk mitigation strategies
đ§ What Weâre Looking For
Required:
* Proven track record managing engineering or construction projects (ÂŁ3M+)
* Strong understanding of construction methods and project delivery frameworks
* Knowledge of CDM regulations, ISO9001 systems, and assurance processes
* Skilled in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Project management certification (e.g., APM PMQ or equivalent)
* HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Civil Engineering
* IOSH Managing Safely or similar safety qualification
