* Contract Type: Fixed Term 6 month contract
* Salary: Up to £23,810 per annum
* Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon–Sat, 9am–5.30pm (with a weekday off)
* Location: Our friendlySalcombe, Devon office with regular travel
About the Role:
We're looking for a dedicated Laundry Operative to join our Salcombe team, a key player in keeping our properties guest-ready You'll handle the smooth running of our laundry and housekeeping operations, delivering clean linen, conducting property checks, and liaising with our self-employed cleaners.
What You'll Do:
* Pack and deliver freshly laundered linen to properties and hubs
* Collect and manage soiled linen, keeping everything organised and ready for the laundry
* Prepare linen for weekly property departures and check inventory
* Assist with property inspections and spot any housekeeping issues
* Support our cleaners and suppliers, providing practical feedback
* Occasionally lend a hand with property checks or minor housekeeping tasks
* Keep stock levels under control and order items ahead of time
* Work closely with the Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to keep operations running smoothly

What You'll Bring:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Calmness under pressure and a flexible approach to tasks
* Full, clean driving licence
Bonus points if you have laundry or housekeeping experience, strong IT skills for stock and inventory management, excellent communication skills, or a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
