Role: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time, 20 – 30 Hours)

Position Overview:
To process the day-to-day core sales billing transactions of the business and resolve related queries. To provide support to the Finance Manager, Management, and staff of the business when required.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Ledger:
o Manage Mirus invoice query ticket queue daily
o Complete mid-month billing run
o Manage and complete the monthly User Billing process
o Prepare and bill Capped Hours
o Compile and bill Courier Deliveries
o Recharge SSL Certificates
2. Other:
o Perform ad-hoc analysis / Sage downloads as requested
o Generate ad-hoc reports and queries as requested
o Post cash book transactions and reconcile bank accounts as needed
o Assist the Mirus Finance Manager or Revenue Accounts Assistant with other tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Good attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to manage changing workload and priorities
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desirable:
* Experience with sales ledger
* Knowledge of Sage 200 or similar accounting software
* Accounting qualification up to AAT or equivalent
